mysql-db-dump for an tiny little adressbook - can you help out

well dear Linux-freaks

years ago i runned apache-Friends XAMPP on a windows machine. now i am on linux -and i do not have any xampp here.

but - yeah: now i have a full linux machine. I am able to run MySQL on my Opensuse machine.

back to the xampp: There also was a database included - a little demo database for adresses. I eagerliy look forward to get this little tiny database.

is there any way to get it - to get the data-dump of this database. Or to any apropiate little tiny adressbook-database.

look forward to hear from you

greetings

If you want help from people, it's probably best not to call them 'freaks', wouldn't you say?

Sorry...xampp is readily available for Linux, and there are even tutorials for getting it running on openSUSE. Did you try to look this up first?
http://sourceforge.net/projects/xamp...XAMPP%20Linux/
http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-linux.html
http://www.dalescott.net/mediawiki/i..._OpenSUSE_12.1

And unless you tell us what the 'little demo database' was called, there's little we can help you with. If it used MySQL, then go to that machine, and run a mysql dump of that database. Go to your new machine, and import it.

i will do as adviced - hmm - and yes: guess that it could be a good thing to run mysql as a native db - without any
xampp-things.

so i will try that.

greetings say
