Mysql can't start
Mysql can't start after I uploaded my.cnf file in /etc directory before that everything was okay but after I uploaded my.cnf and then restarted the mysql it can't boot
Starting MySQL database server: mysqld . . . . . . . . . . . . . . failed! I tried to delete my.cnf and try again but the same error ... |
it seems like; changes that you have made causing problems. Also deleting configuration files never solves any problem.
So you should create default cnf file, if you want to make mysql working |
Where can I find the default file ? I tried with any my.cnf files from the net the problem is still not solved :(

did you check the log file,
mysql log file:/var/log/mysqld.log (or whatever it is) hope it helps |
We need to know what distro name/version and mysql version. Also, there should be messages in the logs.
