mysql


i installed mysql with yum all work fine,but now i have a problem with the password,i always get this: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

ive done everything i`ve found on google,even uninstalled and installed again,still getting this,what can i do anymore ???

try using no password
if not there are procedures for resetting a forgotten root password starting mysqld_safe to ignore passwords

i cannot be more specific because that would provide possible information on how to hack a database

just be careful because you could also wreck your database in the process

i`ve done that too still doesnt work...i dont get why :|

i think the "hacking the databse" would be my final solution....ive done anythig else i saw on other forums
