How Can I Install And Maintain Mysql In Fedora ? I Want Some Step By Sep Guide Of Mysql In Linux. Can Any One Help Me ? Its Urjent

clearly not an intro. moved to Linux - Newbie. Your best bet though is to but a mysql book from o'reilly and start reading. and please don't request urgent attention, it's not urgent for us, and learning how to administer a database as an emergency really makes little sense.

I bought the O'Reilly book:
MYSQL in a nutshell. by: Russell J.T. Dyer. This is a desktop quick reference type of book that has come in very handy for me. However I first started with a MYSQL Cookbook from O'Reilly. The cookbook is just that. It does not help with learning MYSQL like the desk reference nutshell book does.

In Fedora you would use the Add/Remove Software menu option to install it.
