My localhost on my server is redirecting to a unknown site on its own. gvisit.com is the unknown site.

I have never had trouble with this. I think I had visit number counter on my index.html site. I just deleted my index.html file in public folder.

but it is still redirecting to another crap site on its own.

My site works when I go to my other servers port such as port 81, 82, 83

but when I go the main site, for example, mysite.com it redirects always. it does when I type mysite.com:81

does anyone know how I can fix this?

Issue is resolved.

What was the solution? Posting that, it you can, might help someone else.

The answer was right in front my eyes. Solution = clear browser cache.

That's one of those things that is very easy to overlook!
