Kernel is not panicking anymore, but somehow I can't delete this post.

sorry . users can't delete posts - that's just mods and root privledge. part of the point of the board is to keep all questions archived so that anyone who has the same problem later can search for it - it would kinda defeat the purpose to get rid of a thread once the problem was solved.

or, to put it another way, all mistakes, stupid answers, and highly erroneous advice is saved here for all eternity.
