my fujitsu siemens laptop with ubuntu 11.10 doesnt connect wireless WPA

I've just installed ubuntu 11.10 next to windows. With windows it connects fine. When starting with Ubuntu it just finds and connects with other routers on the neighborhood with (that have no security set). What can it be?

You can try to compare the security settings of the Wireless card in Windows and try to duplicate them in Ubuntu. Also try to upgrade the wireless driver in Ubuntu.

I previously faced issues with starting Wireless internet on my Fedora and it was due to driver issues but the same worked fine on my friends Ubuntu laptop.

The above might perhaps be helpful for other Fujitsu Siemens models.

In my case, my Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo Mobile V3565 wireless adaptor does work, because it connects with routers that have no security enabled. After checking the security settings in both Windows and Ubuntu, I find no diference (and actually there is not much to select, for WPA besides "WPA home", and then "TKIP").
Any more ideas on what can I do please? Should I try to install those other drivers anyways?
