Question my FC9 requires User&Pass to access share!!!!!


i've an i686 with FC9 and i'm sharing files using samba with win pcs
but it requires user & pass to open share .
so how can i manage that user and pass thing and where
by the way i found in system tools -->samba something asking for user and windows user and password,i do not know what to iput???!!!
please help i want to share files

you need to create samba users:

Code:
root@root:-# smbpasswd -a USERNAME
New SMB password:
Retype new SMB password:
then try and get access to your samba share on your win pc. Look here: http://www.comptechdoc.org/os/linux/...ambausers.html
