My /etc/lilo.conf disappeared...

I wanted to check a setting in lilo.conf file but surprisingly, it's not there anymore. What the hell? I haven't installed another bootloader or anything. My system still boots up fine though. What are some possible causes? Rootkit?

Oh you know what, now I remember, hehe. I remember I was messing around the lilo.conf from a gui in xfce. I set it to where it automatically went straight to the only os on my hard disk. I guess that's what got rid of it. Cool.
