"My Computer" and Gnome

How do I list the partitions in Gnome?
When i select Computer, I only see Filesystem, Floppy, CD/DVDrom, but not the partitions like in KDE.

Is there a way, to set it up like in KDE?
Does anybody know, how to configure KDE or Gnome to show size of partitions, space left,.. like in OpenSUSE 10.2?

thanks for your help

Try typing df -h in a terminal.

I get:
Code:

/dev/sda1  2.2G  1.8G  273M  87%  /
/dev/sda6  5.2G  130M  4.8G  3%  /home
varrun    94M  84K  94M  1%  /var/run
varlock    94M  0    94M  0%  /var/lock
procbusb  10M  84K  10M  1%  /proc/bus/usb
udev      10M  84K  10M  1%  /dev
devshm    94M  0    94M  0%  /dev/shm
lrm        94M  18M  77M  19%  /lib/modules/2.6.17-10-generic/volatile

I am running this as a virtual machine.

So does that help?

Well, yes, but i would like to see this always, without running any commands.

In that case try gnome-system-monitor; it has quite a nice display of all the partitions and how much of each is used.

Thanks, that's very good
