"My Computer" and Gnome
How do I list the partitions in Gnome?
When i select Computer, I only see Filesystem, Floppy, CD/DVDrom, but not the partitions like in KDE. Is there a way, to set it up like in KDE? Does anybody know, how to configure KDE or Gnome to show size of partitions, space left,.. like in OpenSUSE 10.2? thanks for your help |
Try typing df -h in a terminal.

I get:
Code:
/dev/sda1 2.2G 1.8G 273M 87% / |
So does that help?
|
Well, yes, but i would like to see this always, without running any commands.

In that case try gnome-system-monitor; it has quite a nice display of all the partitions and how much of each is used.

Thanks, that's very good
