Music Sharing Fedora 8
 

Hi,

I've just recently installed Fedora 8. First time Linux user.

Was hoping to be able to download some music like I used to with LimeWire. I've had bit of a sniff around and the answer doesn't seem completely obvious. I was just wondering what the situation would be for that and how I might go about doing it?

Is it even recommended at all? I read a few things about it which made me a little skeptical so I thought I might ask.

Go to www.limewire.com and poke around, I'm pretty sure they have binaries precompiled for your distribution. Also, they have VERY detailed instructions on how to compile your own copy of limewire if you cannot find a program that fits your rig. That said, pirating music isn't something you talk about usually on a public forum :-P.
