Multiple OS boot problem
 

Dear All,


I am working with XP in my system.i tried installing Linux Fedora core 5for which i had a partition of 60Gb in my hard disk.

I installed the software and after restarting the system it directly goes to XP.In the OS choices menu also i was not able to get linux it only shows XP.

Then I tried GAG boot loader i downloaded the image file in a floppy and tried to boot my PC from floppy.

But it stopped with the following message

"GAG1.." after that it stopped and i have to reboot the system to get in to XP.

I used USb floppy drive since i dont have a floppy drive in my PC.

The same image file works well in a laptop when we boot from floppy.

Kindly help me out to solve this

I know nothing about Linux but I know something about computers. Try putting GAG image on a cd and boot from there, most computer will not boot from USB

Thanks for your reply.But when i download the file from the internet it ask to insert a floppy diskette ant then it writes the image file in to the floppy.

is there anyway to transfer the image file in floppy to a CD?

Either the bootloader was not installed correctly or Linux was not installed correctly.
