Multiple Displays NVIDIA 8600GT

Hey, I have two monitors hooked into my 8600GT and they're both transmitting the same image. I don't know how to really do anything on Linux as of now but I'm learning. I'm running Mandriva 2008 powerpack. If somebody can help me in telling me how to make it to where I can have two separate displays that would be wonderful. I read other posts and I honestly have no clue what they're talking about and I need somebody to "dumb" it down for me. Thanks a bunch, I appreciate it.
