Multi threaded Wine

Hello,

I want to use a certain windows application that uses all available cpus on the system with wine. The application runs fine however wine only uses singe cpu. I read this page on winehq

http://www.winehq.org/docs/winedev-guide/threading

but I cannot understand how to enable thread support. I tried typing wine-kthread or wine-pthread but I'm getting no command errors.

I'm using ubuntu 10 with the latest wine beta 1.3

What leads you to believe that your install isn't using
multi-threading? The document you linked to states it does
this automatically. I think the problem is that you interpret
multi-threading to mean multi-CPU (which it isn't)?

Cheers,
Tink

Unfortunately you are right. I have a 8 core machine and wine only uses 1 core. I may need to launch 8 instances of the application I guess.

thanks
