multi session cd.
 
mandrake 10.0

i have cd-RW.i have 6 sessions in that cd.
now how to view each session seperately.
because i have the data of last session only.
i know i have the data in that.( i am sure.)
the only think is linux is not showing the all session.

now is there any command or packages for view the one by one.

I meant mainly this part of man mount:
session=x
Select number of session on multisession CD. (Since 2.3.4.)

sbsector=xxx
Session begins from sector xxx. (Since 2.3.4.)

That would mean something like:
mount -t iso9660 -o session=6 /device /mountpoint

but i have some more doubt.


linux:/mnt/cdrom # mount -t iso9660 -o session=1 /dev/hdc /mnt/cdrom/
linux:/mnt/cdrom # ls
. .. IITb NEW NEW1 aswin aswin.bmp downloads sangeeth projet reports
linux:/mnt/cdrom #

i know aswin and IITb is my first session.

but it shows all the files ....

Hmm looks like you're right. I just tested and even when i set session=2 all files showed. Sorry, can't help you there then.

i mean for retriveing or view the session by session.
