Hi arul3515,

Can I ask that you please write in complete sentences - its makes it much easier to understand your issue and for you to get a good answer.

Writing in IM type phrases or text type phrases is against the rules as well.

I've only ever seen writing like in IM conversations. As I said try to write in complete sentences that are somewhat punctuated so that people can make sense of your problem.

Unfortunately I don't have a solution.

Can you nsllokup the domain names? If you can not, can you directly ping the IP addresses?
This is nsllokup for www.google.com
Code:
Non-authoritative answer:
www.google.com	canonical name = www.l.google.com.
Name:	www.l.google.com
Address: 209.85.153.104
If you are unable to resolve, try pinging the IP address for google from the above code. And check if you can. If you even can not ping, you are not connected to the internet in the first place. You will need to check with the internet connectivity. If you can ping but can not resolve, its a DNS issue. Try and use global DNS and see if it helps.

What do you mean by not able to ping default gateway? If you can not even ping default gateway, then you can get to internet. Can you do
Code:
nslookup www.google.com
and paste the output here?

Also give your TCP/IP settings and configurations. ifconfig -a should give you the details. Paste the output of the command.

Hi!

I have recently purchased a MTS MBLAZE and I was trying to get it to work on Fedora 14. As a matter of fact, it started working and I got it to work by referring to this link - http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...a-14-a-850677/

The issue is that the internet works fine but I am not able to sign in to Google. Google.co.in opens but google.com doesn't open. I am also able to search on google.co.in. GMAIL and Google Analytics also don't open. But somehow, code.google.com opens and works fine. In fact, I committed some code on one of my projects on Google Code using Mercurial SCM.

Any suggestions?

P.S.: Apologies for posting in a [SOLVED] thread, if it is not allowed.

It is not against the rules to post in Solved threads. They are marked solved so that members wanting to help others do not waste time over the solved issues. And thank you for posting the link.
