I want to know about a software for RedHat linux 9.0 for chatting something like MSN Messenger, please tell me about this along with the process and steps of installation of the software.
Gaim supports many IM protocols including MSN. I you use KDE you might try Kopete, but it tends to crash randomly alot. Search on this forum about installing rpm's, I'm sure both Gaim and Kopete are in the RedHat repositories.
I use Gaim. You can get an RPM for Red Hat 9.0 here. I'm not sure how you install RPMs though, search Google for some documentation. Also, you might wanna check you have SSL installed because I think it's required for MSN.
There are other clients, like aMSN and if you have KDE, try Kopete.
