I am wonderding if anyone has or knows of an msn messenger clone that works with the Redhat Linux 7.2 distribution. Yes I know it is microsoft but they use it at the office. I am trying very hard to be none microsoft dependent but some stuff I gotta have so I can eat. If anyone has any ideas please share.

god no, everybuddy is utter pants. use gaim http://gaim.sf.net VASTLY better than everybuddy. incidentally you could have VERY easily found answers to your question by searching first.

Thanks for your help. I will try the suggested items. Forgive me I am a newbie from the Windows world. Searching for valid suggestions for Windows never worked I will try it with Linux. Old habits like rebooting are hard to break.
