How do I use MSN, Yahoo, Jabber, IRC, Gadu-Gadu(GG), Napster, or Zephyr?

Use the Account Editor (Tools->Accounts, or the Accounts button on the start screen) to add the account of the appropriate messaging service. The protocol plugin is loaded automatically.
The Gaim FAQ

You might also want the latest version of Gaim.

If you think something has been posted before why post it again? That button marked 'search' is there for a reason which shouldn't be too hard to fathom.

The same questions getting asked repeatedly is ALMOST as annoying as people who title their thread 'HEEEELLLP!!!!' leaving us to guess as to what exactly the error concerns.

why do people have to freak out so much.

why freak out about something stupid like people writting questions repeated times. If you don't like it don't read it.
Anyway I'm downloading the newest version of gaim. But it isn't that I haven't loaded the plugin in fact that was the first thing I did. It was that gaim couldn't connect it kept saying authorizatin error when I put in the right user name and password.

well you may well be missing ssl libraries, the gaim faq is your next point of reference really.

and i've got to be with komakino on this... nothing wrong with posting questions again, but if you make a point of saying it's probably been asked before, doesn't really make sense. thanks

Why post questions repeated times? Nobody's freaking out but the more times questions are asked, the less responses they're gonna get. This has got the be one of the most frequently asked questions...had you taken the ten seconds it takes to search (and they even make it easy for you with the 'has this been asked before?' button) then there wouldn't be this issue at all.

Why, exactly, did you not say this in your original post? Still, download latest version of gaim. MSN probably changed their protocols.
