Mplayer controls
 

Hi,

I was recently turned onto mplayer by this forum. I have it up and running with no problem. One question though... is there a way to control the video such as pause, rewind, forward etc like with RealPlayer? The videos play very well but I see no way to control them. Thanks in advance for all help and suggestions.

type "mplayer" by itself for a list of keyboard controls.

Depending on how you installed mplayer, you may also have gmplayer. It's a Gtk front-end with controls and a context menu :)

Yep, I rtfm and found out that the keyboard keystrokes are more efficient than the RealPlayer gui. Thanks again.
