mplayer

After installing all the rpms, codecs, etc. required for mplayer, the manual says to do a ./configure, make, etc. But I get this error:

bash: ./configure: No such file or directory

Do I need something extra to use this configure command? What else do I need to do? Please advise.

If you installed the rpm thene you don't need to - that is only if you intend to compile from source.

Just run:
mplayer
