mplayer

To whom it may concern,

I am trying to play a dvd from my laptop's cdrom/dvd rom drive with the program Fedora Core 3 through mplayer and the command I am using is mplayer DVD://1,2,3,4, etc. and the error comes up -Mplayer crashed. This shouldn't happen. It can be a bug in the mplayer code_or_in your drivers_or_in your gcc version. If you think it's mplayers fault, please read DOCS/HTML/en/bugreports.html and follow the instructions there. We can't and won't help unless you provide this information when reporting a possible bug. What do you suggest? Can you give me the command line please.

Which version of mplayer are you using? Did you install it from source? Also, have you ever had problems with apps crashing?

Hi, sabeeh start a new thread in an appropriate forum, because your question has nothing to do with the current one in this thread. This way, your question will get more exposure and you will get an answer quicker.
