MP3 Players ??
 

Hi folks,

The XMMS in Linux distribuiton Red Hat 9.0 does not support MP3 anymore.

I would like to know if there is a patch that I can download to solve this problem?? Where can download and how can I install this patch??

Is there others MP3 players for Linux?? Which are the best ones or which one do you recommend me ??

MP3 is not supported by default in redhat due to license restrictions on mp3 format.

please download the xmms mp3 plugin

Alternatively, you could have downloaded the xmms version 1.2.8, which supports mp3s. I was having the same problem with xmms 1.2.7 and rh9, but fixed it by dLing the newwer xmms.
