MP-BIOS BUG 8254 timer not connected - use noapic option to boot


MP-BIOS BUG 8254 timer not connected - use noapic option to boot.
Hi I am new to LINUX. Tried to install UBUNTU and got the above MP-BIOS BUG thing question is how do I use the noapic option to boot?

Basically, press F6 and choose 'nolapic' first, if that fail then use 'noapic'. It is better to try 'nolapic' first because it disables less and may work.
