mozilla/netscape & shockwave/flash useful link

greetings

I came across this site yesterday whilst trying to sort out a flash player for mozilla so that my daughter can visit her favourite pages without having to boot back to windows.

http://mazinger.technisys.com.ar/pruebas-nick/mozilla/

ya need to run the browser as root when you visit this page for the "click here to install" to work

result>>> i went to the macromedia site and on to their "site of the day" flash sites and got 100% working pages
haven't seen the "This page needs a shockwave player" dialogue since.

NB/ the plugin from this page is ALPHA, but there is an e-mail link to report bugs

the site infers that it will work for mozilla or netscape (I'm using moz1.3) and there's an added option for a java plugin as well
(Havent tested that-no need, already sorted)
