Mozilla closes itself (java related?)

Hi,
FC3
I'm trying to look at cars on autotrader, but whenever I click on links Mozilla closes. It seems to be only certain links - javascript in particular (so I can't get round it by right clicking and opening in a new tab...)

There doesn't seem to be anything in my security settings stopping me from accessing stuff, so what's the beef?

Hi Alex,

First make sure you are using the latest Mozilla...

Open Mozilla....click on help then about Mozilla (mine is Mozilla 1.6)

Then try this....open Mozilla ....Click on help then about plugins and see if java is properly installed

If it is there will be a big long list of java stuff...

If not...you can get it by clicking on the plugindoc.mozdev.org link at the top of the plugins page you are on...or...on the sun microsystems website for free

Thanks,

I'm actually running mozilla firefox, sorry. Version is 1.0 and latest is 1.04 - tried installing it but whenever I try to run it i get "run application or display contents", press run and nothing happens.

Closes also when the link is to an "asp" file.

What's the difference between Mozilla and firefox? worth changing from one to the other?
