The bookmarks are save in a file bookmarks.html under
~/.mozilla/default/<some random characters>/bookmarks.html

Or if you can't be bothered to go hunting for the bookmarks.html file:

- Open Mozilla
- Select Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks
- In the Bookmarks window, select Tools > Export
- Specify a filename and location for your Bookmarks file
- Move your Bookmarks file to any location on the new machine
- Open Mozilla on the new machine, select Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks, select File > Import and browse to the location where you saved the bookmarks file.

Job done.

If you're using Firefox there's an extension called Foxmarks to synchronize bookmarks between computers. Each computer you synchronize them with has to be running Firefox and the extension.
