Mozilla 1.8 alpha


How can I get better quality of the text in Mozilla browser. It? very bad and I can hardly read the text on my desktop. It? okey in all other programs and browsers.

Edit>Preferences

Choose 'apperence' (it's at the top of the list). And somewere there you should be able to change the fonts to whatever you like.

If my directions are wrong it's because I'm at work and I don't have any Mozilla browsers here, so I'm just going by memmory.

Thank You mr Iceland. I found the entry for changing the fonts but the quality in Mozilla is still bad compare to for an example Konqueror. Have a nice day !!

Odds are it isn't compiled with xft support, so you'll need to recompile. --enable-xft. Or downgrade to an older version that has a contrib build for xft.
