moving from source to destination


hey everyone,
I downloaded a linux kernal 2.6.33 tarball and i want to move it from the downloads folder to /usr/src. Kindly help. Thanks

You need to look into commands like "cp" or "mv"

I assume that you'd like to compile the kernel. Nothing wrong with it, but perhaps you should first master some basic linux commands.

Also check in GNU Coreutils.
You might need them sooner or later.
