Movie Player Linux Video not playing
 
I am having trouble viewing videos with the movie player. It plays the audio just fine but only has flashes of video throughout. I believe it has something to do with the frame rate but I don't know how to change it.
I have read about frame drop and it is used on slow computers but my computer is an AMD Phenom x6. What can I do to play this video?

We need more information about what you are trying:

1. Which media-player are you using?
2. Which graphics hardware with which driver are you using?
3. What are you actually trying to play (web-video, DVD, local video)?
