Move Slackware To A Larger Hard Drive
I have installed Slackware 13.37, 32-bit. I am trying to learn more about Linux and I am using Slackware as a teaching tool.
I am planning on moving Slackware to a larger, empty hard drive. For this I will use Clonezilla. In the process, the partitions on the new, larger HD will be created proportionally bigger. (By choosing option -k1 in Clonezilla.)
When I installed Slackware on the old HD, I told the installer to put LILO on a floppy. (My old computer still has a diskette drive.)
Therefore, every time I want to start up Slackware I launch LILO by booting up my desktop with the floppy. This is something that I would like to continue doing when the new HD is installed.
Do you think that LILO will give me fits when I try to boot up after the new HD has been installed?
I guess I could install the new HD and see what happens, but I thought I'd ask first while the old HD is still installed and Slackware runs...
