Unhappy mouse will not work all the time


hello I have a problem with my Saitek rat 5 mouse on several Linux distros itworks fine to start but when you open a new window it will not let me click on any thing like minimise/maximise or close etc.Some times if I press alt F1 it works for a while then does it again.The pointer moves but left or right click wont.Any help would be greatly appreciated

If you have another mouse, swap it with this one.

The most likely case is that the mouse is starting to fail, especially as you report that this happens with several different systems.

If you have a Windows computer, you might also test the mouse with Windows.
