Mouse Wheel In Slackware 8.1

OK folks i have crawled all over this site and a few others :P From what i have found i have to add the line
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" #### for the wheel
to my xf86config to enable the wheel .

My problem is when i do this it gives me an error stating the the option "4 5" is invalid for this field . The most is a simple ps wheel mouse , to be exact a microsoft intillimouse. Any body have any thoughts ? Lack of the wheel is starting to drive me mad

run xf86config, it'll ask what mouse you're using and there's an option "Microsoft IntelliMouse"

Also, if you can post your mouse section of your /etc/XF86Config file we might be able to see if there are any typos or anything that could be causing the problem.
