Question

I am running Linux Mandrake 7.2 with KDE and I was wondering if anyone knows how to get the mouse scroll wheel to work.

or u can add/append the following in your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file:

Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Mouse0"
Driver "mouse"
Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2"
Option "Device" "/dev/input/mice"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
Option "Emulate3Buttons" "no"
EndSection

mainly the ones your interested in is the:
Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2"
and
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
Option "Emulate3Buttons" "no"

and also to get the wheel working in netscape, you need to copy a few lines to your .Xdefaults, i haven't got mine, as iam at work, but you can e-mail me and i'll send it to u if u like
regards
V

Netscape is not really my favorite browser, I prefer konquerer, but I will keep that in mind if I start using it. As for the rest of the message, I will definately give it a try. Thanks, for the reply.
