Mouse speed

How can I adjust mouse speed to be lower? The cursor just moves too fast.

Actually, presetting xorg.conf, the mouse buttons are configured right (switched from mx-518 to http://www.amazon.com/Evoluent-Verti...1543606&sr=8-2

I'm using Slackware 12.2.

Cheers,

By the way, I'm quite satisfied with the mouse except the speed on linux. I just want to make it a bit slower.

xset is the command to look at.

Edit: man xset for more info, look at the m option.
