Lightbulb More info on your m0use..

Is it a USB-mouse or a standard PS/2-mouse?
(that is; if it isn't any older )

And what do you mean by:
Quote:
during the boot process it is working fine
?

I get the idea that what you're experiencing is somewhat the same problem I had recently when installing my USB Logitech Mouseman Optical...

It's a PS/2 mouse, I'm booting Linux with the install CD and as I walk through the set up I'm am able to use the mouse to choose the options that system setup requires to boot the system. It's not till after I select boot an existing Linux installation that I loose all mouse functions.
the curser immediately goes to the very top of the screen no matter which way the track ball is turned.

please advise.
