Mouse problem in RH9
 

I have RH9 installed and have a 3 button PS/2 wheel mouse. But every time I restart my system my mouse doesn't work smoothly. Than when I go to system settings/mouse there I see my mouse is highlighted. If I press OK and go out only then my mouse runs smoothly. Although I save my settings everytime I log out, these problem comes again and again.
What can I do?

boot to a command prompt only and run the command xf86config...pick the right mouse (and a whole bunch of other stuff too) and it should work. Make sure u know about your video card and keyboard and monitor first though because it will ask you about that and you can't only answer about the mouse you have to answer it all before it saves it
