[SOLVED] Mouse pointer starts trembling without provocation n stops only when mouse is shaken!

Try anything you can lay your hands on! A lot of people hereabouts use towels (the thin type I haven't seen outside India, not terry towelling) but that has more to do with mopping up perspiration than optimising mouse performance.
