Mouse on laptop jumps everywhere


My laptop mouse jumps all over the screen, when I am typing it jumps backwards and type inbetween words, it sometimes get stuck and I can't move it. Also I lose it and can't find it

In my past history this problem has been caused by not enough memory. It would help if you can give us the cpu, memory, and hd size. Also list which distro you are trying to use.
