Red face mouse not working


Hey i have got a new problem..my mouse has stopped working suddenly..i can see the cursor but no movement..i updated the packages with the cds while updating the mouse worked but when i log on to system it wont move...

what i need to do??

you need to provide a lot more information here.

e.g distro, type of mouse, what you think may have caused it, explaination of what you've done so far...

i have a samsung ps2 mouse..i by miss take clicked on diff mouse configuration in yast..I just tried to update 2-3 packages of games just to find whether mouse worked or not

sounds like you need to go into yast and reconfig your mouse. is there way to do that from the command line anyone??

yeah i got my mouse working..the link had lost
i tried this
" ln -s /dev/psaux /dev/mouse"
and its working
