Mouse configuration

I'm currently running a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 (5 buttons with tilt wheel), but I can't figure out how to configure button behavior. Buttons 4 and 5 are counted as button 1, and the tilt wheel doesn't work.

In Fedora Core 6, how do I can this? The mouse option in System/settings doesn't appear to have what I'm looking for.
