mounting SD card on lenovo g570 - ubuntu 13.04


Have 32 gig Wintec SD card. Computer will not see it. No entry in 'computer'/'devices'. How an I mount it or find out why not?

With this kind of problems always check first the system logs with 'dmesg' , if the system really did not see the device or that it just did not mount it.
If you are not sure how to read the output from dmesg, post its output here.

Plug in the card then run 'dmesg' in a terminal window. Post here what the kernel spits out.

Try 'rmmod xhci_hcd; modprobe xhci_hcd'?
