Mounting network drives

Hi All

Is their any way of making a permanent mount connection to a mapped drive on Linux Redhat 9.x, cause every time I reboot and switch on my system I have to go and re-mount my mapped drives again...as root...???

Thanks..!!

I assume you are using nfs? If that is the route then you need to make an entry in /etc/fstab to mount during boot. If you get stuck and or don't know how to do this search for the nfs howto at the ldp.

nfs=network file share. I assume you are using it? ldp=Linux Document Project where a lot of the Linux documentation is done. link= http://www.linuxdoc.org/
