Mounting external hard drive

HI,

I have just managed to dual boot WINXP and RadHat 8. WOOHOO it took a while. I have all my data on an external harddrive, FAT32 using USB2.0 to connect. How can I mount the drive onto the system?

Cheers,
gadgetboy

USB drive

Assuming that the USB modules are loaded, your USB drive is probably /dev/sda. Assuming no other SCSI devices.

Just create a directory and mount it just like any other drive.

Managed to get it mounted. Used mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/usb after creating the usb folder.

Thanks for the help
