Mounting error

Dear Guys,

I am using Oracle Linux 4.7 in virtual machine implementation. This was running absolutely fine but today it hangs (while booting) by saying "Mount: Error 22 mounting none". All I've done is that I tried to untar a file which was of 3.2 GB (approx 25 GB uncompressed). Please assist me to recover this error as I have very important data on the system.
