Mounting Drives connected to a controller card

I have an iwill side raid card i use as an ide card so i can have more hard drives in my computer. Since installation of linux i cannot access any of my drives on this card I am new to mounting filesystems and would appreciate any help. The drives on the controller card are formatted in fat32 and have information i would like to access in linux. I currently run Red Het 7.0

What chipset?

What is the chipset of this controller card? If Linux supports the chipset then there should be nothing difficult in accessing it.

- Make sure that the chipset is supported
- Make sure that support is in the kernel (either compiled-in or as a module)
- Make sure you're running the kernel with the support enabled

After that you should be able to ls /proc/ide and see hdd and hde (and maybe hdf and hdg too) directories.
