mounting cdrom in redhat 9
I just installed Redhat 9 on a e-machine with a pentium 400mhz, 128mb and the cdrom is a samsung src-3232 I'm having trouble getting the cdrom to mount. Everytime I put a piece of media in it, it locks up the whole machine. I go into the command line and type mount /dev/cdrom mnt/cdrom or mount -t iso9660 /dev/cdrom and then I get errors that say wrong fstype, bad superblock. I only get those messages if it doesn't lock up which it usually does during the mount process. I also tried to mount it using the automount tool in KDE, but the same problem persists. If someone could help that would be great.
Thanks
