Question Mounting a usb thumbdrive st windows files can be read

Is there any way to mount a USB thumbdrive such that I can read the files I've written there in windows (and, hopefully, write files there that could be read by windows?)

I'm using Lycoris Desktop/LX R3, which also does hot-plug for usb (so I'm assuing I'd have to unmount it first, and I'd need help with that).

Cheers!

Usually companies provide basic step by step instructions for using their memory keys on Linux. I have one made by PNY and their user manual for it has excellent instructions for mounting and unmounting in Linux. Have you checked there?

erm.... Well, no, because I got it whilst still enslaved by windows, where it was just plug and play and I didn't have to worry about cross-platform performance, so the little paper flyer which came with it (may have been the user manual, I"m not sure) got chucked...

I'll check and see if they've got it online, I've also got a pny
