Mounting a DVD-RAM disc as non-root

Hi there,
I am trying to mount a DVD/CDRW that does support DVD-RAM media (readonly). My FSTAB entry is
/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom udf,iso9660 noauto,gid=100,user,exec,ro,umask=000 0 0
Now, if I mount it as root, I can read it, and run mplayer to view the video in the DVD_RTAV folder. But if I mount it as a user, I cannot access the DVD_RTAV folder (only see the folder itself).

Any ideas about how to mount it properly?

jryoung; as root give ur user mode permission to mount. (r,w,x) or just
r, & w . u did not specify whether u r only single usr or others on pc. that the deciding factor of r,w,x or r,w only.
