montavista 3.1 x86_pentium4 mvl-update-script??

anyone have any dealings with this at all? I have followed the instructions, added this script to my PATH, but this is what I get when I try to update the downloaded patches:

Sorting packages by architecture...
error: Unable to open /opt/montavista/cge/host/bin/lib/rpm/../../lib/rpm/rpmrc for reading: No such file or direcotry.

Validation of package /opt/montavista/cge/host/bin/host-mvlinstaller-<whatever> failed.

This may indicate that it is not a valid package, or that the download of the package failed.

I have tried downloading this package multiple times, but to no avail.....any information would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
